As the Senior Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for developing actionable research to improve the productivity and efficiency of our operations. What you'll do on a typical day:
Prepare operational and financial data for research, investigation, projects or general business actions
Access multiple databases, extract information and develop metrics and scorecards to measure and improve overall operational and financial performance
Research operational and financial data, including performance and productivity data, to identify potential error, trends to aid in root cause identification and corrective actions.
Monitor and research data and reports to identify operational issues throughout various departments
Utilize systems and software to develop and create visibility and maintain reporting tools to support business and financial decisions
Create related reports, graphs, charts, presentations, and other documents to support analysis and application of corrective actions
Develop and deliver productivity savings and engineered solutions analytics for the developed solution across multiple disciplines (Operations, AP, AR, Cash Application, Invoicing, Finance, Procurement, IT, Implementation, Sales, and Solutions)
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience
2 years of experience in comprehensive supply chain or logistics
Expertise in preparing, importing and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases and presentations
Experience with Microsoft Office; ability to extract system data from SAP and utilize Excel/Access to develop reports; expert-level Excel skills, including macros
Experience with converting raw data into usable formats
Support experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management applications and database systems
It'd be great if you also have:
Availability to travel up to 25% of the time
Solid problem-solving techniques, statistical analysis skills and the ability to create queries, solid data mining and development skills
Ability to create solutions-based reports to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Fundamental comprehension of warehouse operations and supply chain structure
Solid verbal and written communication, organizational and time management skills
