Permanent opportunity with great benefits near the beach.Below is the job description and qualifications for the position:Job Description:Responsible for analyzing and implementing improvement initiatives related to IRNA supply chain receiving to inbound and manage outbound capacities.Designs, specifies and implements material flow and storage improvements based on Lean Manufacturing methodologies and processes to optimize productivity and reduce costs associated with material movements for incoming, in-process, storage and outbound transportation of materials.Essential Functions: Works to continually improve flow of parts to achieve better cycle times and reduced costs through optimization of material flow with suppliers, partners (3PLs) and customerApproves and maintains all applicable PFEP data and records in both a database and ERP systemEstablishes, maintains, and communicates material flow specificationsInvestigates material flow issues and coordinates resolution both internally and externallyCoordinates optimized material flow processes with consideration of impact to other departmentsDevelops and maintains KPIs to measure and improve material flow to production and along the external supply chain.Provides cost estimates for material handling activity for new program quotesSupports and contributes to lean manufacturing practices such as 5S, Kanban, poka-yoke, Kaizen, visual management, 1-piece flow, etc.Recommends and plans material handling and equipment as appropriateEnsures maintenance of quality standards in compliance with TS16949Performs special projects as needed About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
