FLEET SUPERVISOR
**Must have transportation experience and proven leadership within the industry***
Our Client, a long standing, reputable transportation company is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to join their team.
This company has longevity in the market and is extremely employee focused; with many members setting their roots down and growing from within.
Fleet Supervisor:
Focus on driver retention rate and adhere to company standards for minimizing turnover in your assigned fleet of equipment
Reinforce to each driver, the importance of safety first, obeying all rules and regulations
Properly plan & analyze each load with the individual driver, and ensure that all needs are executed properly
Geographic routing of equipment/drivers to shipper and customer destinations
Monitoring of mileage performance by driver/truck to assure that company weekly mileage goals
Manage and maintain performance records, time-off periods, accident reports, driver retention rate...etc
Knowledge of innovative computerized dispatch system
Knowledge/experience with Qual-Comm EOBR system of communication and tracking of fleet
Coordinate maintenance/repair as needed within your fleet
