Job Overview Start Time: 6:00 AM; Monday - Friday TheRoute Specialist will cover the routes of teammates when they are awayand maintain their established routes, including orders, delivery, and,or unloading our products at customer locations on designated routes, ina courteous, professional, compliant, safe, and timely manner. Thisfast-paced role is also responsible for stocking and facing products ondisplays and shelves, in coolers and cold vaults while ensuring thatappropriate rotation standards are maintained. The Route Specialist maybe asked to train new route sales teammates and to assist theSupervisor, as time permits; handle urgent customer needs to satisfycommitments made to customers, and serve as an ambassador of our companyand the world's most recognized brands. Duties & ResponsibilitiesCovervacation routes competently to maintain established route standardsand sales to prevent missing important opportunities, ensure a highlevel of customer service is maintained Order, fill, merchandise, androtateproducts on shelves, displays, cold vaults, and cooler equipment,according to company standards Specified activities per route discipline(bulk, conventional, full service, and cold bottle) Assistthe Supervisorin training new route sales teammates and assist supervisors as timepermits, focusing on safety, efficiency, and customer service.Handleurgent customer needs to meet commitments made to customers in atimely, consistent, and professional manner, through partnering with thesales, delivery, and customer management teams Assist supervisor withprojects, tasks across the territory, and other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities Able to perform job duties with minimalsupervision on a timely basis Past job performance must reflectdependability, initiative, professional demeanor, and the ability toexercise sound judgment Ability to work in a fast-paced continuouslifting environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of productrepetitively Availability to work some weekends and some holidaysPrevious route delivery, direct store delivery, stocking, merchandisingproducts, or retail management experience is strongly preferredExcellent safety record Must have the ability to push and pull manualand powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck,etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards withoutassistance Ability to read, speak, write and understand English toperform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, anddivision) Route Specialist typically is a senior role capable ofcovering any route discipline.
