Substitute Bus Driver / Substitute Bus Aide
The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Transportation Department has an immediate opening for a Substitute Bus Driver / Substitute Bus Aide. Experience in early childhood is preferred but not mandatory. Training is provided by the program. The primary role of this position serves as a substitute school bus driver in the event the regularly-scheduled driver is not available. CDL Bus Endorsement is a requirement for employment.
The secondary role acts as an aide and rides on the bus with the bus driver and is responsible for helping students boarding and exiting the bus. All students are required to wear seat belts or integrated car seats. Some students will need help getting buckled in safely. Monitoring student behavior is also the main job duty for the Bus Aide.
