RV Repair Assistant

Profile

Job Responsibilities:

•  Assist RV repair technicians with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining recreational vehicles (RVs), including electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.

•  Perform basic tasks such assisting with inspecting RV components, replacing parts, and testing systems.

•  Prepare tools, equipment, and parts for repair jobs. Washing RVs for customer pickup.

•  Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.

•  Provide excellent customer service, including communicating repair needs when directed.

•  Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.

Qualifications:

•  Basic knowledge of RV systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry) preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.

•  Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

•  Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

•  Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

•  Prior experience in automotive, mechanical, or construction fields is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

•  Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, including tools, RV parts, and equipment.

•  Mobility: Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods while working on RV interiors and exteriors.

•  Manual Dexterity: Requires fine motor skills for handling small tools, screws, and delicate components.

•  Environmental Tolerance: Ability to work in various conditions, including outdoor settings, confined spaces (e.g., RV compartments), and exposure to heat, cold, or noise.

•  Stamina: Must have the physical endurance to perform repetitive tasks and remain on feet for 6-8 hours per shift.

•  Safety Compliance: Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots as required.
