Fleet and Reverse Logistics Specialist','JOBREQ1800057777','United States of America-North Carolina-Greensboro-USA - Greensboro (Piedmont Parkway) Office','Traffic Solutions','Full-time','','Dec 6, 2021','!*!As a Fleet and Reverse Logistics Specialist, you will coordinate the claims and reverse logistics programs to support the Business Unit logistics team! In this position, you will play a significant role in supporting the business unit's private fleet in collaboration with the Fleet Manager, International Logistics and Trade Compliance Manager and Senior Manager of Logistics and Trade Compliance. Can you support training, maintenance, and operational readiness of commercial vehicle’s onboard communication system?

Key Responsibilities


Provide driver-training for Over-the-Road company fleet drivers and own the motor vehicle fuel card program.
Report transportation claims incidents while providing key performance reporting of tote status availability and monthly key performances of claims recovery.
Assist in establishing and communicating standards to plants on safety requirements while reporting the status of in-transit damaged/lost goods.
Coordinate drug testing, ensuring all registration permitting, and regulatory CDL driver compliance and recordkeeping.
Coordinate issues related to plants’ light vehicle fleet and tote recovery efforts with corresponding plants Logistics Coordinators.

Qualifications


2-year degree with 10 years of proven experience in logistics-related roles and solid understanding of DOT / FMCSA.
Previous experience as a driver or managing drivers in a multi-plant manufacturing environment is highly sought after.
Experience in EHS roles, reverse logistics activities, and with TMS systems are highly encouraged.
DOT and IATA trained and certified is a plus.
