My team has just been contracted to source and secure TOP > FLEET MANAGEMENT
As a Fleet Manager on one of our Client Companies teams, you will be the primary point of contact for the trucks/drivers you are responsible for managing. Are you good at developing relationships with drivers? Increasing overall driver satisfaction and improving driver retention are key to be most successful in the role. This position will also be a liaison with the customer providing clear communication for a superior customer service experience.
To be successful in this Fleet Manager role a successful candidate will be proficient at executing and planning their work to meet agreed-upon goals. Working closely with other departments in achieving company objectives and safety initiatives are also essential to success in the role.
Successful candidates will be dedicated performers, driven to perform on all cylinders and committed to every aspect of their role.

Successful candidates will be internally driven and focused on going to whatever extent necessary to drive their individual performance and deliver the desired results.
The candidates offered the positions will possess an aptitude for paying attention to details while at the same time fully capable of communicating the larger project goal(s).
Job Responsibilities:
Manage a team of commercial trucks and drivers.
Supervise on-time pick-ups, deliveries, routings, and other transit time factors.
Work with the customer service and load planning departments to ensure the delivery of freight and relay driver concerns.
Communicate directly with the customer providing delays, service failures, or any other issues and details necessary regarding service delivery.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DOT regulations for over-the-road drivers including e-logs, permits, hazmat, weight restrictions, etc.
Ensure DOT and company-specific safety regulations are followed.
Work hand-and-hand with the Shop / Maintenance to keep all assigned equipment serviced and operational at an optimal level of performance.
Experience and Education Requirements:
2 years minimum experience in management / transportation required.
HS Diploma or GED.
College degree or Trade School certification in relevant fields a big plus!
This position requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
