The Transportation Specialist provides transportation using a company-owned vehicle for individuals in need of behavioral health services. This position works closely with staff in coordinating transportation for individuals, along with a case manager to and from community-based health centers. This position is also responsible for ensuring the safety of passengers at all times, including documentation for state, program, and agency standards and the implementation of individualized transportation plans. Must have excellent personal, organizational, and communication skills. Also, be willing to work as part of a dynamic team while helping to make a huge difference in the lives of individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis.

Education Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Bi-lingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. You must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance. An excellent driving record required and be able to pass a driver’s license verification for driving agency vehicles.
All staff must be vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless a certified medical exemption accommodation is granted. Proof of vaccination must be show upon hire.
