Countour Industries Expansion Could Bring 100 New Jobs to Tennessee

Countour Industries, a maker of industrial glass used primarily in household appliances, is building a new 57,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Hawkins County, Tennessee. The plant, once completed, is expected to bring in 50 to 100 new jobs. Contour anticipates having the new plant up and running by mid 2010. Sales are up for 2009 for Contour, whose glass can be found in appliances made by Whirlpool, General Electric and others.
