Hoboken NJ Hiring for City Positions

Acting Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer is looking for candidates for department head positions in her government.Zimmer is replacing directors appointed by Peter Cammarano, who resigned in a corruption scandal less than one month after taking office.
She is looking for an in-house counsel; and directors for Community Development, Environmental Services, Health & Human Services, and Parking Utility. The city also needs a Public Information Officer; and there are openings on the Rent Control Board, the Library Board and the Hospital Board.
Zimmer’s appointments will only become permanent should she win re-election in November.
