Avon Calling… to Lay You Off

Avon Products will eliminate 1,200 jobs over the next four years, and shut down plants in Ohio and Germany.The job cuts will target 3% of Avon’s workforce. The company will close its Springdale, Ohio, plant by mid-2012.
Avon announced plans to eliminate 3,000 jobs in February.
Avon Products is a US cosmetics, perfume and toy multi-level marketing scheme with markets in over 140 countries across the world and sales of $9.9 billion worldwide as of 2007.
