Mercury to Bring 42 Jobs Back to Florida

Boat parts manufacturer Mercury EPM will expand into making parts for the automotive, industrial and environmental industries, bringing back 30 laid-off workers and creating at least 12 new jobs.The jobs pay an average $12 an hour.
The St. Cloud, Florida firm is part of boat engine maker Mercury Marine of Fondulac, Wisconsin.
The company had reduced its headcount to 76 last August, but over the last few months it has hired or brought back 42 workers.
