Perot Systems cutting 450 Jobs

Texas’ Perot Systems will cut 450 jobs across its operations, including 90 jobs in Dallas-Fort Worth.The firm reported a profit of $28 million, or 24¢ per share, up 4% from 2008. But the company will still cut jobs to “preserve the profit margins that investors expect.”
Perot Systems Corporation is an information technology services provider based in Plano, Texas. The company was founded in 1988 by Ross Perot, Texas billionaire and presidential candidate. The company is one of the largest companies in the information technology services industry, and currently has offices in the US, Europe, India, and Mexico. It added offices in China in 2008.
