In the Past Year, Daviess County, Kentucky Has Added 1,275 Jobs

Companies in Daviess County have created 1275 new jobs within the last twelve months. The president of the Greater Owensboro Development Corps, Nick Brake, expressed his delight, but said it was not unexpected “with all the construction and expansions we’ve seen this year”. He went on to say that local manufacturing “is starting to climb back”.
Kentucky’s overall unemployment rate, at 9.8%, is the lowest it has been since January 2009.
