Internet payment processor Paypal has announced it will be hiring 2,000 new employees at its customer service and operations center in Chandler, Arizona.
The new center opened today and already employs 500 employees. According to a Paypal spokesperson, “We are happy with the quality of hires in Arizona, the geography, weather and time zones.”
“Ebay is a global organization and there are always opportunities to move ahead,” the spokesperson added.
In addition to the 2,000 new hires at the new Arizona center, Paypal recently revealed that it would be doubling its compliance team, which would amount to the hiring of 250 new officers to keep the company within regulations in the several countries it operates in.
