The Team
Our newly built PVH Campus in located in the Houthavens area of Amsterdam, and was opened in 2018. The buildings unify all departments into a single, centralized location to consolidate operations, increase efficiencies and foster a family spirit. The campus is designed to stimulate innovation, teamwork and collaboration, and support further company growth.
The Campus consists of three state-of-the-art buildings and is approximately 40,000 m2 in size. The location boasts offices / showrooms /People¹s Place Cafes, and is home to 2,000 Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein & PVH associates.

The Campus is run by the Facilities Department, consisting of 4 teams: Hospitality, Operations, Parcel Management and Projects & Workplace Management. The team is 32 people strong, and is supplemented by additional outsourced security, reception and cleaning personnel. The department’s goal is to provide consistent quality and excellent service to all associates and guests by offering a one of a kind workplace experience. Within the scope the department takes care of office refits, furniture portfolio, moving services, maintenance, security, office supplies and parcel management services.
The Position
As member of the Parcel Management/Logistics team, the Coordinator Logistics & Parcel management is reporting into the Operations Manager Logistics & Parcel Management. This role is responsible for support in projects and operations within the full logistics/parcel management team. Projects and operations mainly concern systems/tool development, support and testing, monthly intercompany cost allocations, second line support within the logistics network. All is mainly focused, but not limited to the shipping of samples in development stage (SIDS) back and forth between the HQ in Amsterdam and our vendors and sourcing offices throughout the whole world.
It requires detailed financial and system development skills as well as deep knowledge of custom and carrier/courier related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial cost allocations and invoice processes
Work closely with the Manager Operations in the European Sample Distribution Center (ESDC - Hoofddorp) for all carrier invoices received through the internal financial systems to allocate all courier costs for all Salesmen Sample (SMS) and SIDS shipments across the company (in SAP and in the Purchase system - Coupa)
Connect with divisional and departmental leads and shippers in Amsterdam, sourcing offices and individual vendors/factories across the globe to create shipping and costs awareness and validate costs amongst their shipping behavior
Align with external stakeholders / Finance departments from all carriers regarding the validation of the invoices
Project support and coordination
Work closely together with the Operation Manager Logistics & Parcel management with regards to the implementation of all projects initiated.
Support the operations within the Parcel Management team
Connect, cooperate and evaluate with external stakeholders (carrier account managers, finance team members, consultants) to support in the projects
Work alongside the Operation Manager Logistics & Parcel Management as a first point of contact for external and internal stakeholders with regards to different carrier/parcel management contracts like FedEx, DHL Express, HPE, PostNL, MyPUP, SIS, Qtrack.
Operational support and coordination
Advise and update the Mailroom team and sourcing offices (Asia/Turkey) with regards to network issues, carrier and tool updates, customs changes and systems performance issues
Second line support for the Mailroom team and sourcing offices in Asia/Turkey with regards to different systems used by this team like Ship it Smarter, MyDHL+, FedEx Admin, DHL MyBill, PostNL, HPE, FedEx Billing Online, MyPUP and administer requests / issues such as account set ups, delayed shipments, official documents, cost centers, new user accounts, vendor address validation e.g.
Continuously update all internal communication channels (The Thread, flyers, SIS) based on changes in customs and other regulatory changes)
Team
Back-up of the Operations Manager Logistics & Parcel Management during his/her absence
The Ideal Candidate:
4 years of experience minimum in operational corporate facilities office environment
An HBO degree in Logistics or Facility Management or equivalent experience in managing corporate logistics office environments
Ability to maintain structure yet streamline and standardize logistic processes
Eye for detail: good analytical numerical skills
Strong team player with excellent social and communication skills
Flexible; comfortable working in a fast-paced and fast-changing environment
Willingness to travel abroad for implementation of shipping tools
Accurate financial awareness
