SUMMARY
Stampede Ventures Inc., a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., is currently seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver for seasonal work in Nome Alaska.  SVI has various snow removal contracts in Nome Alaska.  Qualified individuals will operate loaders, dozers and/or dump trucks, removing snow in the City of Nome.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are
not
intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
Operate small to medium sized loaders, and skid steers clearing and loading snow
Operate/Drive 10-12 yd. dump truck and/or Side Dump hauling snow in the City of Nome
Operate Dozer clearing snow.
Perform lite maintenance on above listed equipment (check fluids, grease, maintain in safe operation).
Shovel and clear snow from steps, ramps and walkways
Operate/Drive lite duty sanding truck
Practice workplace Safety.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Required (Minimum) Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
2 years of experience operating loaders and dozers.
2 years of experience driving dump truck and/or side dump
Class A CDL with relative endorsements
Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Ability to operate/drive equipment in a safe manner within the city limits of Nome
Knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage.
Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures.
Preferred
3-5 years of truck driving experience.
3 years of snow removal equipment operating experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
Job is performed outdoors with almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes smoke and/or loud noises.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
