Position Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to):
Provide clients with a quick and accurate pickup and delivery
Dispatch all jobs to drivers quickly and accurately
Properly manage and coordinate driver availability as work dictates.
Work closely with drivers (this includes assigning new jobs, obtaining POD's, charges and handling any pickup or airline problems)
Communicate with Quick offices, airlines and vendors with status updates as required
Work closely with C/S & Operations (this includes checking routings, coordinating pick-ups and deliveries, and assisting with any problems)
Responsible for shipping/receiving duties when applicable.
Document and escalate all problems/situations as per company policy and procedures
Submit company driver and IC payroll (ensure all OT is pre-approved)
Report vehicle accidents/driver incidents immediately to lead/Manager/HR
Schedule and manage vehicle repairs and equipment
Perform driver functions and role as required
Essential Skills and Abilities Required:
Demonstrate Ability to identify and solve problems
Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate knowledge of company policies and procedures
Time Management: The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Computer Proficiency
Must possess and maintain Forklift certification
Must possess and maintain function specific DG certification
Demonstrate experience in international & domestic airline routings, geography, and time zones
Maintain a valid driver's license
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands:
The employee is required to occasionally lift and/or move packages up to 70 LBS
Must be able to operate a pallet jack and forklift
