They will be responsible for:Providing strategic thought leadership, ensuring that our plans for Transportation & Logistics are aligned to Aon’s strategic objectivesDelivering on agreed strategic prioritiesHelping to build an exciting new strategy and capabilities in a growing, dynamic and focused organisationMajor Accountabilities:Work with the Global Head of T&L  and other collaborators to develop Aon’s Transportation & Logistics strategyBe / become a source of in-depth Transportation & Logistics expertise and provide SME input where appropriate to T&L initiativesRepresent the Global Head at internal and external meetings when requiredLead the planning and delivery of new Transportation & Logistics initiatives to support delivery of Aon’s strategy, including turning them into clear priorities and practical plansBuild positive relationships across Aon, globallyWork closely with and be the transportation & Logistics Advocate within ABS and CSD to ensure market leading customer and colleague experience.Assist in ensuring alignment of the agenda with Aon’s global, regional and solution line objectives and initiativesAssist in evaluating external capability / vendor solutions as Aon seeks to build its Transportation & Logistics capabilityConstantly review priorities/progress against plans in the Transportation & Logistics spaceWork with and collaborate closely with other Global Industry SpecialtiesAd-hoc BAU requests and initiativesWork together with Aon’s global marketing teams to articulate the message, and build the profile, of Aon’s Transportation & Logistics strategyDimensions of Role:Regional / Location Responsibility: UK based role – flexible on locationNo of Direct Reports: None but this may changeLeadership Qualities:Committed as one firm to our purposeUnited through trust as one inclusive, diverse teamPassionate about making our colleagues and clients successfulCommitment to Inclusion and DiversityKnowledge, Skills, Experience and Attributes:We are flexible about required background for this role, although we do expect the role to be filled by someone with seniority and experience.
