Location: Feed Mill – Banks, Alabama

Position: Dispatcher

Work Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm)

Sunday through Thursday and may require Fridays as well.

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for but not limited to:


Loading and dispatching trucks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Require the dispatch of drivers which includes being able to re-route drivers on the driver's schedule and adjusting the schedule as needed.

Answer phone calls from growers and Broiler techs as well as keep records of any outs called in.

Accurately weigh and record feed weights. Must be self-motivated and be able to maintain records.

Must learn how to load trucks and keep their work area as well as the Load-Out area and 2nd floor area clean.

Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.

Must be able to work all holidays and be willing to work weekend when required.


Requirements:


Positions require the ability to work in hot environments, use of hands and arms above shoulder level and be able stand 8-10 hours a day.

Must be able to climb stairs/ladders to/from work areas.

Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules (ie. Lockout/Tagout).

Must be able to tolerate standing/walking up to 100% of the shift.

Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed. Must have use of both hands and arms.

Must have good hand/eye coordination.

Must be able to bend, twist, stoop and reach

Must be able to read, write, and have a basic knowledge of math and calculators.

Must work well alone with limited help.
