A majority of our freight is dedicated, round trip. Drivers would operate between Postal facilities and/or relay points.nnMay be required to load and unload trailer, either individually or with assistance of dock workers, with or without mechanical freight-handling equipment.nnJob Features:nHourly PaynSupport of 24/7 Dispatch Teamn10 Paid HolidaysnPaid Vacation after your first yearnShort Term DisabilitynMedical and Prescription PlansnDental, Vision and Life Insurance (both employee and dependent)n401(k) availablenJob Eligibility Requirements:nMust have a minimum 1 year verifiable Tractor-Trailer experiencenClass A CDL for tractor/trailer (no hazmat)nMust have a good motor vehicle recordNo more than 1 ticket in the previous 12 monthsnNo more than 3 tickets in the previous 36 monthsnNo more than 2 at fault accidents in previous 5 yearsnNo at fault fatality accidentnNo pending proceedings for suspension of driver's license or suspension of driver's license in previous 36 monthsnNo revoked license in previous 5 yearsMust be able to clear Postal Security ScreeningnMust have registered with the Selective Service System (Military Draft) if born after January 1, 1960nNO felony or misdemeanor convictions with in the past 7 yearsnMust be able to work flexible schedules, available to cover vacations, call-ins etc.nMust have ability to read, write and speak in EnglishnMust have knowledge of DOT regulations governing hours of service, safe driving and vehicle inspectionsnFull Time Driver Expectations:nOperate to destination within designated time standards for run: routes are generally scheduled for up to 50 hours per week but occasionally drivers may work up to a max of 70 hours in 8 days.nLayover in truck or motel as needed for coverage purposesnOpen availability including weekends and holidays (Full Time Drivers) for coverage purposesnOperate daytime or nighttime hoursnInspect truck/trailer for defects and safe operation condition, before, during and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition at the end of the tripnAssist in loading and unloading by pushing/pulling wheeled containers on or off trailersnMust remain flexible (as DOT hours will allow) to operate on non-scheduled days with other drivers in order to cover dispatch needs,
