Position Summary:

Responsible for the daily/weekly maintaining of pallet tracking (where applicable), audit of driver logs and trip reports, log and driver file DOT requirements tracking. Liaison for internal customer support. Track all return goods as directed by the customer for close out of returns from the private fleet.

Responsible for daily clerical tasks in a logistics setting.

Cover the will call operation : creating shipments , processing shipments and paperwork and interreacting with customers.

Create customs paper work for out of country shipments

Cover scanning of inbound and outbound loads

Other projects and tasks assigned

Will work in both the warehouse and office.
Hours are 12:30pm to 9pm
Major Responsibilities:
• Various office and clerical duties : filing. Processing BOLs, processing will call shipments , customs paperwork.
• Customer service interaction via email, phone and in person.
• Create and process shipments
• Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements

Ability to work in a climate control warehouse
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:
• 1 year of general office/warehouse experience
• 1 year of customer service experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Sheets
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
