SUMMARY: Parts Room Supervisor will work across multiple areas of the garage overseeing day-to-day material/parts room operations while ensuring team member safety and maintaining efficient workflow. Responsibilities include but are not limited to communicate effectively with Driver’s, PFM Supervisors, Transportation Operations, and Dealers to schedule maintenance of equipment, along with parts supply. Will lead and develop all direct reports within the Parts room, this includes hiring team members. Will be accountable for KPI’s based on team strategy and through put, safety, compliance, warranty, and on-going training for the team. Will be responsible for inventory management $250K – $750K. This includes, parts turnover, Inventory dollars on hand, part number supersessions, Dead stock rotation, required material stocking to keep in tune with new equipment purchases and Warranty claim processing & reclamation ($2MM ). Must have the ability to safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned equipment. Will be instructing technicians in obtaining and interpreting instructions, manuals, and schematics as it pertains to parts and warranty. Safety toe footwear required. Other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Preferred education beyond high school including special training vocational school and or college courses.
Experience: 1 plus years preferred; Experience in transportation maintenance preferred
Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal written and presentation skills.
Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and or interrelated tasks and activities.
