WE ARE HIRING A FLEET SUPERVISOR FOR OUR CASH SERVICES DIVISION IN EDMONTON, AB.
 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

 

*Driver Logbook audits to be completed monthly as per fleet policy *Review vehicle inspections and communication of issues to branches for repairs *Review and book preventative maintenance based on availability of trucks and mileage to expiry *Plan, organize, and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements *Collaborate with other supervisors and staff members in order to formulate and implement other policies, procedures, goals, and objectives *Monitor spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with the approved budget *Establish various management tools to improve cost management *Perform all other related duties

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

*A successful candidate would either have or need to be trained in Alberta Transportation regulations. *Good sense of leadership, structuring, execution, negotiation and judgement *Strong teamwork and partnership orientation *Sense of urgency, outstanding communication, and problem-solving skills *Strong critical thinking and active listening skills *Must have 5-8 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing issues on vehicles *Must have 3-5 years experience in supervising unionized employees *Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) *Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint *Must possess a valid driver's licence with an acceptable driving record *Be driven by customer and personal service
