The International Logistics Manager is responsible for leading the operational management of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s Deconsolidation program. Deconsolidation management involves US port and terminal operations, transportation from ports to warehouses (drayage), transloading of the freight, and shipping outbound to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. DCs. In addition, the role is responsible for managing the growth of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s Direct Import program. Critical responsibilities include: third-party service provider sourcing and management, performance management of operational KPIs, influencing and driving process improvement, cost reductions, operational efficiencies, inventory management, forecasting and data reporting and analytics. This role will lead a team of logistics professionals within **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s Supply Chain, and report to the Director of International Logistics and Global Trade.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management Manage multiple international logistics functions and third-party service providers, including port/terminal operators, transportation carriers for drayage from port to warehouse, and warehouse providers for transloading operations, in multiple locations (California and Virginia).
Effectively collaborate with many internal business functions (Demand Planning, Exclusive Brands/Sourcing, Distribution, Reverse Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Inventory Control) in support of day-to-day transportation management and transloading/warehousing management.
Lead role for Holiday peak strategy, planning, and execution with internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and Drive Operational, Systemic and Process Efficiencies Responsible for driving initiatives and efficiencies related to damage reduction, productivity, capacity, service level expectations, cost reductions, and inventory management.
Collaborates with 3PLs, carriers and stakeholders on performance expectations, accountability, and improvement.
Direct Import Growth Lead the strategy of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s direct import program (non-Exclusive Brands) to include: growth strategy, the evaluation process (financial and operational), and operational implementation.
Lead short, mid, and long-term supply chain infrastructure planning to ensure adequate capacity to support Exclusive Brands and National Brand import growth plans.
Reporting & Analytics and Financial Management Oversee & manage weekly/monthly reporting rhythms, including performance versus forecast/budget for key performance metrics.
Utilize data and analytics to drive performance improvements and cost reductions.
Oversee forecasting and freight prioritization by collaborating with internal business teams, including Exclusive Brands, Merchandising, and Demand Planning.
Minimum Requirements
5 or more years Transportation, Logistics, and/or related Supply Chain experience.
Ability to multitask, manage third-party service providers, communicate effectively, think critically, develop strategies, collaborate internally and externally, and work independently is critical in this role.
Strong business and financial acumen.
