WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As our Operations Logistics Lead for Distributors you always start with the consumer in mind. It is a strategic role responsible for driving and enabling end to end logistics and supporting documentation in Middle East, Eastern Europe and North Africa distributor markets. You improve service, growth and profitability to meet the financial and operational targets, while delivering on Nike’s strategy.

You have a deep understanding of business operations and are accountable for consumer/athlete/customer satisfaction, operational reliability. You use diagnostic and predictive analytics to make experienced business decisions. You keep your business partners advised of risks and opportunities, and partner with your MPU and other operational functions to find optimal supply chain and commercial solutions. You engage in key projects evolving existing business capabilities using agile principles.

You need to be able to work against timelines and deliver results. Have validated experience in running x-functional projects/initiatives and simplify complex situations thru structural agile thinking.

You have excellent communication skills: You can do one pagers and present to various partners internally.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You’ll work in partnership with 3PL/4PL providers and business partners across the Nike matrix. This role is accountable meeting business targets, and for building and transitioning sustainable logistics solutions that provide long term benefits to the MPU Distributors in line with Nike’s commercial strategy and customer requirements.

If this is you, you’ll be working with the Supply Chain Operations (Marketplace Operations (MPO)) team of the MPU Distributors on the following topics:


Implement efficient order management and supervise the order book quality. You will be responsible for order execution and will be working in close alignment with our partners and account executives.
Lead and take care of the end to end logistics processes (after shipment release to documentation archiving)
Support shipping goal setting process aligned with finance/sales/planning and supervise weekly shipping progress against target of the accounts
Develop and implement lean projects to build future capabilities to drive logistics excellence and overall benefits to both Nike and the customer/consumer
Check and adjust newly implemented processes and policies to ensure the capability is achieving the desired benefits
Drive continuous process improvement, find opportunities on operational/tactical level and initiate root cause analysis
Establish a framework, performance goals & priorities for all Distributors with a clear consumer focus achieving high standards for logistics processes.
Be the voice of Operations & logistics in the cross-functional business teams to ensure balanced marketplace and mutual profitable growth.
Enforce to Anti-Boycott legislation and other legal and compliance requirements regarding working with Chamber of Commerce, international custom teams and Embassies
Being constantly aware of changing country legislation for Inspections and import documentation changes.


WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH;

You'll work in a cross-functional, agile environment that spans across EMEA and services the Distributor MPU’s operational business needs in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Within the MPU, you will partner closely with Sales, Planning and Finance. Outside of the MPU you will partner with your customers, carrier network, consolidators, supply & inventory planning and Nike’s logistical functions to drive supply chain efficiencies and process improvements while ensuring on time documents, data and physical deliveries. This role has no direct report.
