What will my day look like?
As a Driver, you will be part of a busy branch team, delivering and collecting hire vehicles to keep customers mobile whilst their own vehicle is repaired.
As the only face-to-face meeting our customers' have with us, we will be looking for you to make sure you continue the great experience they have had with your colleagues by phone already. It is the little things that will make a difference; a warm, friendly approach, taking the time to explain the vehicle controls and the hire documents or answering queries in a helpful and positive way.
Most of our hire vehicles are less than 12 months old, so we expect you to treat them as you would your own. You will have an eye for detail, checking vehicles for damage before and after handover and be happy to clean and valet them before you leave a vehicle with a new customer.
A successful Driver:
Has a solid, stable work history;Is confident in their ability to provide a first-class customer experience to those they meet;Enjoys being part of a close-knit team and is keen to help their colleagues with a positive, can-do approach to work;Is a confident, courteous driver with good knowledge of the local area;Ideally has some previous driving experience in their career, especially if they have used a 'Transit' sized car transporter (or larger) or are IAM / emergency services trained. As a Driver, you can expect:

In time, you may have the opportunity to help in the branch office, answering phone calls and updating customer records.
