POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This
Raytheon Technical Service Company (RTSC) professional
position in Billerica, MA is for the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) Production Team focusing in the logistics/material movement discipline.
Required education:
Associates degree or equivalent
Experience:
Two (2) years experience in logistics/material movement, to include practical experience with logistics management systems.
Job Description:
Able to use Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel to produce and work with workbooks used to track and report the status of materials inventories, vendor delivery dates, and outgoing shipments. Ship production systems as well as backordered parts and replace failed parts in response to field requests via e-mail and teleconferences from various STARS locations throughout the CONUS and OCONUS.
Process, record and track Trouble Failure Report (TFR), Return Material Authorizations (RMA), Material Reject Dispositions (MRD). Prepare Inventory Pull Sheets (IPS), Intent to Ship (ITS) documents, and TFRs.
Determine method of shipment utilizing shipping software, prepare materials for shipping by weighing, packaging and stamping; prepares necessary shipping forms such as shipping memos and bills of lading.
Familiarity with PRISM/APEX is a definite plus, excellent general office and time management skills are required.

Basic knowledge of repair part drawings, parts lists and diagrams

Proven ability to work accurately and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Ability to complete various tasks in the logistics/material movement discipline as requested

Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
