The Shag Driver is responsible for slotting trailers into the dock doors and parking lot to load and unload product to maintain continuous production flow. The Shag Driver also completes product protection rounds and paperwork, completes a daily equipment inspections, and fuels trailers. At times, other job tasks may be part of the daily routine.

The work shift for this position is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. During the shift, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and bend, squat, lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds while repeatedly climbing in and out of trucks. The job is performed mostly in an outdoor environment with changes in temperature ranging from hot and humid to cold and damp. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including footwear, head gear, hearing protection, reflective vest, and gloves will be provided.

The hours for the initial 2-week training and orientation period will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. After successfully completing the training and orientation period, you will be assigned to your shift.

Basic minimum requirements: Must possess a current, valid driver’s license
