Class A CDL Driver Home Weekends
Position Description We have an opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver in Rochester NY and we want the right driver to join us at Ryder

$ 1850 per Week with Earnings on:
Mile Pay: $.65 per Mile at 1,516 Miles average per Week
Stop Pay: $17.00 per Stop at 19 Stops average per Week (with Touch Freight Pay- Average $35.00/per stop)
Touch Freight pay: $.17 per Tire at 2,089 Tires average per Week
Layover Pay: $50.00 per Layover at 2-4 Layovers per Week
Sign On Bonus: $2000 after 30 Days and $2000 after 90 Days
Retention/Performance Bonus: $ 1000 Yearly, at Work Anniversary
Ryder Trucks are Three Years or Newer
Tractors: Newer Model Automatic Sleepers- with Refrigerators and APU's
Trailer: New 48' and 53' Dry Van
Freight: Touch Freight
Freight Type: Tires
Deliver SOLO To: East Coast - from Maine to SC; **No NYC, Long Island Only

Requirements Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
5 years' experience within the last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Important Note:
Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Performs other duties as assigned
