Come grow with us!nGeneral Purpose and Scope of Position:nWilbur-Ellis is seeking an experienced career-minded Commercial Driver to be part of a close, efficient team that delivers goods and services to a diverse customer base using a company delivery truck. This position may also be expected to stock and retrieve packages and bulk containers, drive a forklift, and assist with other warehouse duties including general housekeeping. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys working with a diverse customer base in a fast-paced setting.nKey Skills and Abilities Include:nnAbility to operate material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, pallet jack, and other equipment as requirednAbility to operate a manual pallet jack with pallets weighing up to 3200 lbs.nAbility to repetitively bend and lift boxes and bags up to 80 lbs.nSafe operation of company delivery trucknAbility to work and contribute to a team approach with a positive attitude and outlooknWilling and shows desire to work overtime hours during busy seasonsnAbility to be versatile, flexible, and willingnCan effectively multi-tasknnKey Personal Attributes Include:nnPresent a professional image to our customer through personal appearance and overall branch cleanlinessnHigh School Diploma or equivalentnValid driver’s license with Class A CDL or will obtain Class A CDL. With endorsements for Haz-Mat and Tank VehiclesnForklift Driver and Driving Certification (offered on the job)nKnowledge and/or experience with agricultural operations (preferred)nRequires excellent interpersonal skills between both customers and fellow employeesnnSpecific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:nnEnsure all shipments include proper shipping documentsnPerform vehicle safety inspectionsnMaintain mileage and fuel logs on all vehiclesnEnsure no product leaves, or enters, the warehouse without the necessary paperworknMeet and complete all WECO regulatory safety requirementsnAttend product training sessions and meetings when necessarynHelp maintain warehouse cleanlinessnNotify Supervisor or Location Operations Manager immediately if product spillsnAll other duties as assignednnCompensation and Benefits:nnCompetitive hourly wage (to be determined based on experience and other factors)nBenefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, Employee Assistance Program, vacation, sick time, life insurance, more); Pension Plan, 401k match up to 3%nDrug-Free Workplacenn nIf you are currently a Wilbur-Ellis employee, please notify your Manager before applying for this position.
