Job Description

This position is responsible for the transportation of loads to and from plants while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks:

This position requires a valid Arkansas Commercial Driver's License and clean driving record. Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience driving a tractor trailer and prefer 1 year experience hauling offal. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must meet DOT requirements and pass DOT physical examination and maintain DOT logs. Must meet Tyson driver qualification policy. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 10 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors. Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations. Must have the ability to document information. Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview.

Requirements:

Applicants must be 21 years of age. Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times will not be considered. Minimum 6 month waiting period from previous Tyson employment. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening which is part of the post-offer health assessment. Applications are only active for the current month in which you applied. Applicant will need to reapply next month and have an active application to be considered for employment
