SUMMARY
Global Technical Services LLC, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., is currently seeking a qualified Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Logistics Transformation and Execution Logistics Capability Initiatives (LCI) contract in Beavercreek OH. The United States Air Force is transforming its logistics processes and the IT systems which enable those processes.  The successful candidate will provide full range of knowledge and experience with aircraft maintenance (field and/or depot level) maintenance processes, policy, and related IT systems necessary to lead development of solutions to logistics problems/needs.  This position will work with a business process reengineering team to transform the Air Force aircraft maintenance supply chain activity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform analysis of Air Force aircraft maintenance processes, policy, metrics and data
Facilitate Air Force aircraft maintenance community subject matter experts in defining logistics problems/needs, identifying capabilities to resolve the problem/need and determine measurements necessary to measure the success of the identified capabilities.
Facilitate Air Force field aircraft maintenance subject matter experts in reengineering business processes to create new or improved business process necessary to deliver needed capability
Facilitate Air Force aircraft maintenance community subject matter experts in defining IT functional, including data, and IT technical requirements.
Work with Air Force aircraft maintenance functional managers in transitioning solutions from development to execution
Work with the acquisition community to ensure delivery of IT systems which meet maintenance community requirements
Ensure integration across ongoing logistics initiatives and the legacy environment
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Perform action officer duties per customer processes to respond to management questions and tasks
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum ten (10) years of demonstrated experience of Air Force aircraft maintenance
Demonstrated knowledge of business process re-engineering and adapting functional business requirements and processes to technical solutions based upon comprehensive application
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experienced with the Air Force Service Delivery and Development Process and/or Department of Defense Business Capability Acquisition Cycle
Lean Six Sigma, AFSO21 or other industry or Air Force recognized process improvement methodology
Workshop facilitation experience
Project management experience
Preferred
Experience in working with Air Force and logistic consultants
Leadership skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task
Effective oral and technical written communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate complex information to others
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Visio

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
