Job Title: Driver Trainer - Safety Direct Faciliatory -Springdale, AR Terminal Office Position # 11207694_

This position is responsible for communicating and training Department of Transportation rules and regulations and Tyson Foods policies and procedures to new team members and current drivers. This position is also responsible for assisting fleets with compliance issues while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

In addition to the above this position will be viewing the videos generated from our trucks through the Safety Direct portal, classifying these videos as well as monitoring the classification done by others for these videos. This position will also be responsible for generating reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis regarding performance and issues from our trucks and driver on this system. This position will provide new management and drivers with an orientation of the Bendix system and its functionality. This position will host periodic meetings with management with new information or to propose changes as program evolves. This position will coach drivers on the Bendix system, explaining how it works, what the system expects and what Tyson expects as the driver operates a truck with the Bendix System on it. This position must have at minimum a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn other software systems as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Must have at least 1-year experience in transportation industry, CDL driving experience preferred. Must be able to speak and write in English.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills Microsoft Office is a plus; Tyson Business Computer Systems to include Sale Inventory SAP Transportation and Warehousing Systems.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Work Shift: Mon – Fri 1st Shift
