You will ensure that our products are delivered safely and on time. You will stock your truck with our products, drive to stores and warehouses and unload at locations where needed and be back home in the evening.
How you will contribute
You will:
Ensure compliance with procedures and regular safety checks of your equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to guarantee safety at all times.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:
Clean CDL-Class A or B license.
At least one year of proven safe driving experience and no serious driving convictions. If more than one-year experience, the DOT requirement is to check the last 3 years.
Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
Able to use a smart phone or tablet and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times.
Flexibility toward daily changing routes and working times
A great customer-oriented attitude.
General understanding of vehicle mechanics to communicate problems in case of breakdowns and to perform basic repairs yourself
Job specific requirements:
Valid and Clean CDL-Class A license or B if willing to obtain CDL A within 30 days of employment

More about this role
$17,000 Sign-On Bonus
Work Schedule: Short Haul. Mon- Fri.
Occasional Saturday availability required as needed
Start times between 1:30 am and 4:30 am
Position primary location: Montgomery, NY.
Additional locations to cover: Bronx, Queens, Orange County NY, Long Island
Will work in the warehouse as needed
Starting Rate: $24.70 When working in the Whse and 25.95 when driving during probationary period.
After probation period Starts @ $25.75 when in WH.
After 6 months = $26.75,
after 12 months = $27.75
after 18 months = $28.75
When driving starts at $26.30,
after 6 months $27.30
after 12 months $28.30,
after 18 months $29.30
Additonal $2 per hour incentive if delivering 3 or more stops in the Bronx bringing top potential pay to $31.30
Probation is for 90 days. No raise until 6 months however, sing on bonus is paid after probation.

401k 6% match - At 6 months, company puts 3% of your pay into 401K whether you participate or not. We will then match 50% of the first 6% an employee contributes out of their pay.
In the first year, they will be spending a lot of time in the warehouse and must be flexible with schedule.
