POSITION OVERVIEW
DAVEY TREE has opportunities in the CP Rail Division as a CDL DRIVER. Davey is a leader in the tree care, utility line clearing and forestry consulting industries throughout the US and Canada.

JOB DUTIES
*CDL drivers operate a variety of specialized railroad equipment which include Hi-Rail trucks, off-track, bucket trucks and on-track brush cutting equipment.  *

We offer comprehensive on the job training so that you can confidently perform a variety of services for industrial and commercial clients.   *

Our projects include right-of-way vegetation maintenance programs and asset management services for railroads, DOT's, utility companies, commercial industries, Federal, State and local governments throughout the United States. *

Experience with vegetation management is a plus, but we will train the right individual.
QUALIFICATIONS
*

High school diploma or equivalent preferred *

Driver's license required *

Commercial driver's license preferred and may be required, depending on job requirements *

Completion of Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire *

Certificates and Licenses if necessary *

Pesticide license, if required by state law *

Ability to obtain eRailSafe certifications (training will be provided) *

Railroad tree trimming/climbing & spraying experience preferred *

Knowledge or ability to learn railroad vegetation management techniques and procedures.
