And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.CDL-A Dedicated Local Truck Driver Benefits: Competitive pay: Experienced drivers average $1,161 per week / $60,375 per year Experienced drivers start at .445 cpm Average of 1,750 miles per week Stop and loading/unloading pay Average 5-20 stops per week @ $25 per stop $17.50 per hour for occasional forklift loading and unloading Pod to and from flatbed trailer Home daily, Monday- Saturday (Saturday work is required) Will receive daily dispatch via phone call, text or qualcom Delivering to 18 portable storage unit locations, all warehouses Location will unload and reload unless the driver is asked to assist Then return to the Hub and deliver the containers or stop in route to deliver or pick up additional containers Required to operate forklift to load and unload themselves, also to assist the yard man in his duties when business levels are high Required to know the proper way to secure the containers; strapping and unstrapping is required Forklift training will be performed on-site by the Site Manager or Operations Manager Drivers will be expected to make multiple Hub stops as the customer routes require Paid time off including 8 paid holidays (after 90 days) Excellent insurance coverage that includes medical, prescription, dental, vision and hearing starting as low as $88.90/week for family plans and $34.15/week for individual plans Profit Sharing plan allowsyou to share in the rewards of our efforts, with a portion of our profits given back to you as monthly direct deposits into your retirement account Referral rewards - cash bonuses for referrals Averitt's fleet includes local, dedicated, and regional truck driver jobs.
