We're hiring immediately! Dedicated drivers enjoy the many privileges that come with having consistent customers. Unlike some driver positions, this one gives you a better idea of the number of miles and hours each week holds, which means you'll have a better idea of what to expect in every paycheck. And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments. As a full time, Dedicated Truck Driver, you can expect: Competitive pay: Average $1,553 per week; $79,203 per year Starting pay of .53 cpm Top pay of .55 cpm reached within 6 months Average 2,600 miles per week $25 stop pay Average 7 stops per week Company sponsored per diem program Drivers will be required to reset while on the road, dispatch is based on freight availability and location Dispatch time is 2 weeks plus Drivers can expect to log 70 hours in 8 days; may have to take a reset on the road If out for three weeks, three days home. If out for four weeks, four days home. (typically, home on Friday's and out on Monday's) Dispatches and start /delivery times are received the prior day and assigned to drivers Deliver trailers loaded with portable storage units to storage centers or hub facilities Destination site personnel will unload & reload portable storage Driver is responsible to strap, unstrap and secure portable storage units and containers Pick up and deliver in all 48 states: no NYC deliveries This is an assigned sleeper driver position, may have to do a reset on the road $18 per hour while operating forklift to seldom load and unload (training provided) Full Time CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver Benefits: Paid time off including 8 paid holidays Excellent insurance coverage that includes medical, prescription, dental, vision and hearing starting as low as $88.90/week for family plans and $34.15/week for individual plans Rider policy available for legally married spouses Profit Sharing plan allows you to share in the rewards of our efforts, with a portion of our profits given back to you as monthly direct deposits into your retirement account Referral rewards - cash bonuses for referrals Averitt's fleet includes local, dedicated, and regional truck driver jobs.
