Job Details:
Summary:
Shuttle required trailers to needed positions on company property and over public roads while following all Tyson safety policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be willing and able to follow all safety rules and plant GMPs. Maintain trailer seal log. Check and fuel refrigerated trailers. Shuttle trailers to needed docks and/or off-site locations. Maintain Daily Trailer Inventory Sheets. Report any damage or needed repairs to supervisor. Keep equipment clean and orderly at all times. Must be willing and able to cross train as Material Handler. Assist with housekeeping in the yard and dock areas. Perform any additional duties as needed to assist the department
Requirements:
Education/Certifications: Must be willing and able to maintain Powered Industrial Truck Certification
Experience: Must have a minimum of one year of truck driving experience.
Computer Skills:
Communication Skills: Must be willing to communicate verbally with team members. Must be willing to operate equipment safely
Special Skills: Must be willing to lift up to 50lbs occasionally throughout shift. Ability to use problem solving skills and work well under pressure
