Oil Spill Response Technician / Mariner – AB/OS

CISPRI is seeking a career-oriented individual to work based from our Nikiski, Alaska facility. CISPRI provides oil spill compliance services on behalf of our Members within the state of Alaska.
Preferred skills being sought:
Credentialed Mariner AB or OS – 3 to 5 years’ experience (within Alaska preferred)
Class A CDL
Oil spill response experience
Current 24 or 40 hour HAZWOPER and First Aid/CPR certifications
Mechanic/welding skills
Heavy equipment operation
Team oriented with passion to work safe and efficient
Work schedule comprises of a five-week rotating schedule. Two weeks aboard CISPRI’s spill response/OSV as an AB/OS Marnier (84 hr work week), one week off duty, and two weeks based from CISPRI’s Nikiski headquarters working as a Spill Technician (min. 40 hr work week). Employees are provided a cell phone for emergency response availability 24/7.
Employees must permanently reside in Central Peninsula area. This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position. Job offers contingent upon a medical exam to include drug screen and background investigation.
