CDL Driver Weekly Minimum Guarantee
Position Description We have an opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Philadelphia PA

Weekly Minimum Guarantee $1250 No Less Only More and it gets better
Driver Positions Pay Weekly
Hourly Pay: $29.00 Per Hour
Overtime Pay after 40 Hours
Hours Per Week: 40 Hours per Week
Layover Pay: $50.00 per Layover with 1 - 5 Layovers per Week
Layovers are in a Ryder Provided Hotel or Sleeper
Sign On Bonus: Pays you $2500 at 30 days and $2500 at 90 days
Schedule: Monday - Friday - Must Be Flexible
Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800 Maintenance Facilities.
Deliver SOLO To: VA, MD, DE, PA and NJ
Tractor Type: Day Cab and Sleeper - Possibility of 26' Straight Truck
Trailer Type: 48' - 53' Flatbed, Dry Van and Reefer - Possibility of 26' Flatbed
Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack, Rollers, Lift Gate and Moffet
Freight: Mix of Touch/No Touch - Varies by Account
Load Securement: Strapping, Tarping and Chaining

Requirements Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
5 years' experience within the last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Important Note:
Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Performs other duties as assigned
