We are looking for a highly skilled Specialist, Operations, to support the Dispatcher. At XPO, you'll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.

What you'll do on a typical day:
Support the Dispatcher in his/her duties of dispatching trucks to meet customer requirements
Make appointments for pickup and delivery; update systems
Keep track of empty container availability
Forward Proof of Delivery on appropriate web-billed accounts
Monitor import container releases from the pier and rail to prevent demurrage
Oversee and answer daily emails
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
1 year of relevant work or military experience
It'd be great if you also have:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of transportation experience
Excellent analytical, communication and time management skills
Experience with Microsoft Office
