Job Details:
SUMMARY : This position is responsible for generating reports; accurate and efficient order entry and maintenance for moving product between Plant and Freezers; maintaining files; coordinating and interfacing with Team Members by telephone, email, or fax. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, organizing work, selecting appropriate methods to complete assigned tasks, evaluating results, and coordinating with others. The position requires a great deal of attention to detail and information tracking; monitoring inventory levels and material usages and requesting ingredients from off-site warehouse. Position will accurately track and record incoming and/or out-going materials/products, prepare documentation, communicate with guards on incoming tractors/trailers, ensure trailers are in doors in timely manner, and ensuring that yard checks are completed at appropriate times. The responsibilities for this position also include providing support to the warehouse manager and supervisory staff in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse dept; and additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 1-year related experience in transportation/trucking/distribution industry and SAP preferred
Computer Skills : Basic Computer Skills with a preference for the Tyson Computer Systems and understanding of the system features and how to use these features.
Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, 0focused communication style.
Special Skills : Must be proficient with data entry
