This position is based in Industry, CA and reports to the Regional Operations Manager. COVID-19 restrictions may require daily screening, masking, social distancing, and staggered shifts. nnThe Delivery Driver provides safe and timely delivery of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. products to customers in our region, including but not limited to bulk corrosive liquids, pressurized hazardous gases, and hazardous contained materials. Hill Brothers is expected to comply with all DOT, EPA, DHS, OSHA, and regional regulations and expects its drivers to do the same.nnn Total Compensation Package: nSalary: $27.69 per hournBenefits:Medical, Dental, Life, Short/Long Term Disability Insurance, Vacation, Sick, Paid Holidays, Pension with Peer.n Physical Demands/Environmental Work Conditions: nThe physical demands of this position may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation and include:nClimbing into/out of an elevated cabnSitting for up to 11 hours per daynPushing/pulling pallets weighing up to 2500 lbs with a pallet jack or drums weighing up to 625 lbs with a drum dollynTransloading bulk liquids/gases, including inspection of Hill Brothers' and customer's equipment; manipulation of valves; hooking up/unhooking hoses; monitoring flow and receiving levels; and minimizing spills, leaks, and releasesnDaily vehicle inspectionnPossible climbing to ascertain tanker/customer tank leveln Environmental Work Conditions: nOur fleet and equipment are outside and, therefore, exposed to seasonal elementsnHazardous materials include toxic inhalation hazards, corrosives, oxidizers, and flammable liquidsn Duties & Responsibilities: nDaily Vehicle InspectionnConfirmation that load corresponds to shipping papers, bills of lading, or other manifestsnProper placarding of hazardous materialsnSecurement of loads, whether full or emptynSafe, prompt, accurate, and courteous delivery of product to customernEnsure that all return containers from customers are empty (have no pourable quantity) and are clear of external residuenWillingness to adapt to changes in routingnAbility to coordinate and communicate operational or safety concerns with dispatch and managementnAdherence to state and local driving lawsnMaintain a clean, properly equipped delivery vehiclenPromptly report any mechanical or equipment issues to managementnParticipation in a random DOT drug and alcohol screening programnThe above job functions are illustrative of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position and are not intended to be all inclusive.
