This is a Full-Time - Local - Day Shift Position

This position is primarily responsible for the delivery of propane to contract grower poultry farms and dwellings, will also be utilized as a floater driver for other locations in NWA Live to include the following but not limited to: Feed Delivery, Chick Delivery, Egg pickup and the possibility of pullet moving. The driver must climb in and out of the truck many times each day and pull a one-inch hose 100 ft. at times. Must properly maintain a driving log and conduct a thorough pre-trip inspection of the equipment and submit a written report on the condition of the tractor and trailer at the end of each trip. Report all accidents or incidents involving driver of company equipment. Must be willing to repair lights and perform minor vehicle maintenance as needed. Must be able to climb in/out of truck using 3 points of contact several times a day and climb ladders as needed at varying height. Must be willing to drive, walk, sit, bend, stoop, twist as needed and repeat all essential functions throughout the shift. Must be willing to lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Must follow all DOT rules and regulations in addition to all Tyson Foods policies to include Animal Welfare and Bio-Security guidelines. Must be willing to work/drive in inclement weather; hot, cold, dusty, icy, etc., must have a flexible schedule. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.

This is a Day-Shift position, Local Driver- Home Every Night

NOTE: This position is a Full - Time position and will work year-round.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Applicant must have an active Class A CDL, must be at least 21 years of age, with a Hazardous Material Endorsement, must be able to pass a Criminal Background check to ensure Federally qualified, must attend 40 hour basic LP gas course, Arkansas Propane License Preferred- will be required to become Arkansas LP Gas Board certified to install propane systems or deliver propane must have at least 1 year verifiable driving experience with a tractor/trailer. Must have ten years of work history (employed, unemployed, self-employed, or student). Must be able to obtain a medical card as required by DOT. No DUI/DWI conviction in the past eight (8) years in a personal vehicle, no DUI/DWI conviction in Commercial Motor Vehicle ever. No DOT Drug or Alcohol Violations including Roadside Inspection violations as identified on locations PSP report within the past three (3) years. Must meet the Tyson Driver Evaluation System requirements that involve but not limited to: Points, DUI/DWI Rules and Drug and Alcohol Testing.

Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered.

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, this is a condition of employment. If not fully vaccinated previous to hire you will be required at a minimum to have received your first vaccine previous to hire, then be fully vaccinated before the 45th day of employment.
