Bus Operator applicants must complete a drug and alcohol screen from Lane Memorial Hospital at no cost to the applicant and must complete a fingerprinting background check from the Louisiana State Police Office at a cost of $52.24 ($49.25 cost $2.99 convenience fee) paid by credit/debit card OR by two separate money orders for $10.00 and $39.25, respectively. In addition, applicants must be suitable, adaptable, and a 'fit' for the school district with the knowledge, the skills, and the attitudnal dispositions necessary to be a sub teacher in our modern times. All professional traits of dress, conduct, speech, and behavior are expected.
