And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver Benefits: Competitive pay: Average $1,288 per week / $67,000 per year Starting pay .54 cpm Average of 2,200 miles per week Stop and loading/unloading pay Average 6-8 stops @ $16/stop Stop times average 30 min- 1 hour each Company sponsored per diem program Weekly home time, regular midweek home time Generally leaving out on Sunday with midweek and weekend home time Picking up preloaded trailers at the customer's location in Virginia Beach with possible backhauls Making deliveries along the East Coast to include (GA, CT, FL, MA, VA, PA, NC, SC, NY, IN, OH, NJ, TN, MD, RI, AL) NYC pay is $50 per run; only 1 to 2 times per month Driver required to move freight to the rear of the trailer using a hydraulic pallet jack Lumpers are available at some delivery locations. Otherwise, Customer is to move freight from rear of trailer to stockroom Regular dispatches Assigned safe, well maintained Volvos having automatic transmissions and APUs Paid time off including 8 paid holidays Excellent insurance coverage that includes medical, prescription, dental, vision and hearing starting as low as $88.90/week for family plans and $34.15/week for individual plans Rider policy available for legally married spouses Traditional and Roth 401(k) plans with profit sharing that directs a portion of company profits into your retirement account Referral rewards - cash bonuses for referrals Averitt's fleet includes local, dedicated, and regional truck driver jobs.
