Commute time
You could expect the position of a CLASS A CDL TRACTOR TRAILER DRIVER to include the following:
DUTIES:
Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Pre/Post trip inspections on tractors and trailers.
Make deliveries to company stores in safe and efficient manner.
Must be familiar with DOT regulations.
Will be on call 24/7 per union contract agreement.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a Class A CDL.
2 years recent tractor trailer experience preferred.
Must possess a Valid DOT physical card.
Must be able to pass DOT physical/drug test.
Must be available to cover all shifts (transportation operates 24/7)
Good driving record.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Driving
Bending
Stooping
Able to work outside in seasonal weather
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Working entire shift (8-14 hours)
Information about the job
This position pays $20.35/hr and will increase to $21.05/hr on March 28, 2022.
Health benefits are provided after one month of employment.
Drivers are at home after every shift, no overnight stays.
