Overview: 
Under the limited supervision of a Section Supervisor, delivery driver employees are responsible for the following major functions:  Efficient transportation of product to internal and external customers in a way that meets customer requirements.  The driver is responsible for the timely reporting of overages, shortfalls, and damages.  This position entails a high degree of attention to the task at hand in order to prevent injury to self or others, as well as company property.  This position falls within the Medium/Heavy work category.  One must be capable of exerting 40 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 25 to 40 pounds of force frequently and up to 24 pounds constantly to move objects.   Employee must be able to work effectively in all temperature ranges and subject to ambient weather conditions.  Employee must be able to remain standing and/or walking for a minimum of eight hours per day on non-forgiving concrete surfaces.  One must professionally represent the company through responsible warehousing skills, professional appearance, and superior customer service.
Primary Job Duties: 
Transport and deliver goods in accordance with the schedule as determined by Fulfillment Center management team. 
Load and unload or assist in unloading freight as required. 
Properly secure loads and assure loads are within weight limits. 
Verify count and condition of goods loaded and unloaded. 
Document delivery activity as directed. 
Operate the truck in a safe manner. 
Report any vehicle problems and defects to Distribution Center manager. 
Comply will all Department of Transportation standards and regulations. 
Have and maintain a good driving record. 
Ensure good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and acting in a courteous and professional manner. 
Additional Job Duties: 
Shipping:
Double check freight and documents for accuracy
Box and palletize for shipping
Examine all contents on invoice for hazardous materials
Ensure all required HAZMAT paperwork is complete and properly included and filed
Ensure the items are properly packaged and weighed for safe shipping and accurate billing of charges to customer and from vendor.
Receive and Stock Freight:
Unload freight and break down shipments as required
Count and examine freight and reconcile piece counts with documentation
Prepare and update stock tags as needed
Stock and face inventory in the proper location and address any overstock situation
Update the catalog price sheets
Order Pulling:
Pick up invoice and begin any required paperwork
Accurately select orders by location – locate items and check manufacturer, part number, quantities and units ordered and pull merchandise.  If item is stocked in multiple locations identify and complete the order
Safely move all stock to main floor and transport to staging area
Examine each item pulled and conduct a double check session.
Box, package and seal orders and palletize for shipping
Prepare shipping documents
Other general warehouse duties as assigned:
Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently only after receiving proper training.
Restock returned items and miss-picked products
Assist and upkeep of facilities to include snow removal as required
Maintain warehouse equipment as needed
Maintain clean and safe work environment.  Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.  Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 6 months driving experience operating 26’ box truck or equivalent.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening
Must attain Department of Transportation physical certification IAW 49 CFR, Part 391.41
Valid State of Alaska Drivers License
Clean driving record to be provided by applicant upon request
